Greater Newburyport YWCA unveils new facility and Web site

NEWBURYPORT – Eyeland Creations has made it easier for the community to find out more about the Greater Newburyport YWCA’s expanded health and wellness facility located at 13 Market St.

Donated by local design firm Eyeland Creations, the new Web site (www.ywcanewburyport.org) communicates the YWCA’s commitment to community, support for the YWCA’s mission, as well as following a unified national brand standard. The new facility includes a four-lane pool, warm water teaching pool, fitness room, group exercise studio and Kid's Club House. 

The new Web site includes photos, schedules and membership information. The next phase of the design will allow members to sign up online.

Leaders of the YWCA praise the Eyeland Creations design team for launching the easy to use Web site from concept to creation in less than one month.

“Eyeland Creations has truly helped us achieve our vision. The turn-around time was unbelievable,” said Erin Dunphy, a member of the YWCA’s marketing committee.

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new facility will be held May 19, with the “first splash” schedule for May 30.
